Buyer’s Inspection
Buyers can protect their investment and learn how a home operates by scheduling a Buyer’s Inspection. We will find the issues you want to know about before purchasing, making sure you don’t get stuck with expensive and unexpected post-purchase repairs. During the inspection, you will learn how to operate and maintain the home, how to make and keep the property safe, and what repairs should be requested before closing.
Free Thermal Imaging Scan
Offering a thorough home inspection is important to us, so we offer a Free Thermal Imaging Scan with every inspection. We scan each room with an infrared camera, allowing us to see areas of heat or heat loss behind surfaces we couldn’t see otherwise. This helps us identify hidden moisture intrusion and measure heating, air conditioning, and water temperatures. If we find what we believe is moisture hidden in the home, we will do a more in-depth inspection of the area.
Pre-Listing Inspection
Sellers should have a full understanding of their home before trying to negotiate with potential buyers. During the Pre-Listing Inspection, we find defects or damages the seller may not even be aware of so they can repair them before listing and offer buyers transparency.
Re-Inspection
In some situations, the buyer and seller of a home may wish to have a third-party confirm that the repair agreements made after the Buyer’s Inspection were met. We revisit the home with a list of the repairs, checking that each one was addressed as requested and completed.
New Construction Inspection
A New Construction Inspection should be scheduled before the final walk-through so that builders can address oversights in construction beforehand. We thoroughly search the home for the defects that often go unnoticed so that the home can be left move-in ready.
Light Commercial Inspection
It is important to fully understand a commercial building’s strengths, weaknesses, and safety issues before buying. We offer Light Commercial Inspections for storefronts, office buildings, and other small commercial structures.
Additional Services
Mold Testing
Mold can damage home surfaces and often goes ignored or unnoticed until it becomes an expensive issue. We conduct extremely thorough Mold Testing using state-of-the-art sampling equipment, along with Extech Humidity and Moisture meters. Once we find humid or moist areas in the home, we will test for mold growth and advise about remediation.
Radon Testing
Radon is a radioactive gas that occurs naturally in uranium-rich soil. It is a cancer-causing agent and can’t be detected by odor, taste, or sight. Home buyers and owners can keep their families safe by scheduling Radon Testing, which we conduct by placing a continuous radon monitor in the home. If unsafe levels of radon are detected, mitigation measures will be recommended.
